Hi all, and welcome to the ABC News Bachelor live blog!
So far, Juan Pablo has made out with four women -- no five -- no six women in the preview for this season. (Now seven.)
And six women have been shown sobbing. This show is the best.
Juan Pablo was born in Ithaca?! (He grew up in Venezuela and lives in Miami.)
"Every time I wake up, every time I travel, the first thing that comes to my mind is Camila." He's so, so sweet with his daughter, and I love that he praised her mom!
"I'm definitely ready to fall in love. .. I want to have two more kids badly," he said. "There's always a person for everybody." Do you guys believe him? (Or agree?!)
Sean Lowe is back to talk to Juan Pablo! "I'm very very nervous, so it's very important for me to get some advice," he said. "Who else I was gonan call? He's the guy!"
"I'm getting anxious," Juan Pablo added.
Sean said it doesn't feel real until the first limo pulls up -- and now Juan Pablo is worried that he won't remember any of their names. Sean told him to just be upfront about that. "Make em feel at home!" Sean said. "Do you have a strategy as far as kissing them ... [I kissed] a lot, and I dont regret it."
Sean's one piece of advice? Don't kiss someone in front of the other ladies.
Sean said his best move was to stay open-minded. "I ended up with Catherine but Catherine wasn't even on my radar until three or four weeks in," he said. "We got engaged in Thailand... rode off into the sunset... fast forward a few months, we're living in Burbank, my dog's getting sprayed by a skunk... and I'm looking across at Catherine thinking, 'I love this girl and this is the person I'm going to be with forever.'" SO SWEET!
Now JP is in a tux getting ready to meet the ladies. "I think about what somebody can be to my daughter," he said as he's getting ready to leave. "I'm taking this as serious as I can take it. It's my life and the life of my daughter, but I take a step back and I see and I'm like, 'Wow, you're lucky man.' I can find somebody to become my wife. To me that's one in a lifetime. I can't wait to fall in love."
It's back! Chris Harrison said fans everywhere wanted JP to be the Bachelor -- were you in that majority?
Okay, now we're meeting the women. Chelsea lives in Columbus and she's 24. "[I'm] very silly, just fun and outgoing," she said. And now she's learning Spanish.
Renee is from Sarasota, Florida and "My number one love in my life is my son," she said. (He's 8!) "I am ready to find love, I'm ready to be vulnerable."
Andi is a prosecutor from Atlanta. "I love my job but it's not the only thing that defines me," she said. "I've been in love just not a love that would last forever." She's going to get jealous, I think -- she said she hasn't come to terms with the fact that shes' going to share him.
Amy is a massage therapist and she views it as an art form, but she said no guy she's dated likes her massages. (Who doesn't like a massage?!)
Nikki is a pediatric nurse, and she wants to be a "positive presence in somebody's life," and loves her job. "I do not want to settle, ever," she said. "I want that head over heels, in love, can't get enough of each other feeling."
Lauren is from Oklahoma and calls her family her "best friends." "My love life totally sucks," she said. She was engaged recently, but he broke up with her over the phone. "It's something you just don't get over," she said. "I dont want it to work if it's not the right one and you need to go through adversity to be able to enjoy the good."
Valerie is from a farm town in California and she is a personal trainer. She describes herself as a competitive and "pretty. I'm a pretty girl." This one is going to cause drama...
Lacey is from La Jolla and 9 members in her family have special needs, she said. "You have to really be tender to what kind of love you give them," she said. She runs an elderly care facility.
So far, I think we've met a few women who will cause plenty of drama -- and I'm pretty sure there will be tears in the next segment.
Juan Pablo just arrived at the mansion, and he looks VERY handsome in his suit. "I'm a little nervous about this," he admitted. He shouldn't be: Chris Harrison said that this season there were more applications than usual!
Amy L., a local news reporter, is the first girl out of the limo. "You look fabulous," JP said. They both seem a little nervous but nothing dramatic happened. And now we're meeting Cassandra, who's an NBA dancer. They ran out of things to say and it was sort of awkward, yeah?
Christy from Chicago "looks gorgeous," JP said. "You're looking very good." She said she wouldn't be here if someone else had been the Bachelor.
@AnitaFewDrinks, we'll keep you posted!
He just met Christine who is wearing a green dress -- and she brought him a gift for her daughter: a bracelet with her name. And here's Nikki, the pediatric nurse from earlier. Finally, the first stunt! She brought a stethoscope for him to listen to her heartbeat.
Kat just got our of the limo. She looks very confident and said she's a dancer. (They just salsa danced -- good move, Kat.)
Here's Chantel, an account manager. "My name is Chantel, like 'Shh,'" she told him.
Here's Victoria, a legal assistant. She's in a yellow dress and from Brazil. (Fun fact: I'm pretty sure that they have to bring their own dresses!)
Oh wow. Lucy, who's a self-described "free spirit," is not wearing any shoes. "I didn't want to be too tall," she said.
Danielle, a psychiatric nurse apologized for not having "anything crazy planned now" but promised to give him a gift inside. (Er... what do you think it is?)
Uh -- a girl is pushing a piano up the driveway. "I like that," he said. (Her name is Lauren and sh'es a composer. I guess that makes it okay -- though she did just make a mistake, and he winced!) She was so, so nervous.
JP just ran inside and the girls are having a panic attack. (He just wanted to find out Lauren's name, because she forgot to say it. So sweet.)
