Great work by Colombia here as Kostas Manolas has to get in a desperate last-minute challenge in the box - the South Americans look so strong on the ball.
Shot by James Rodriguez! But Orestis Karnezis holds easily.
Amero's goal has been changed to a 6th-minute goal by FIFA...it remains the fastest goal Colombia has ever scored at the World Cup (previous was a 19th-minute PK against Uruguay in 1962).
Twenty minutes in and Greece have settled after that early setback, but Colombia look the stronger of the two sides.
Shooting at this World Cup:
Outside box: 4 goals on 38 shots (10.5%) - 3 of the goals came in BRA-CRO
Inside Box: 12 goals on 60 shots (20.0%)
According to our very own James Dall, FIFA apparently have to show goal-line technology for every first goal in a game, to confirm that the tech is actually working (he says unconvincingly).
All good points - defensive football won them one of the top trophies in football!
EH - flattery does actually work on me. Cheers!
Another Colombia surge forwards, but nothing comes of it.
Good call, Dieter - put your best phrases here and we could have a poll!
